Mrs. Braddock & Mrs. Adrian

My name is Mrs. Braddock and my new assistant is Mrs. Adrian. We both feel honored and blessed to be part of the wonderful team of priests, administrators, teachers, and staff at St. Joseph Cathedral School. I have been teaching kindergarten for ten years, and I absolutely love it! Before that I was the technology teacher at St. Peter’s School for four years. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Lincoln University, a Master’s degree in Religious Education from Loyola University, and a Missouri Elementary Teaching Certificate at Columbia College. While raising my own children, I volunteered as a leader in scouts, chess club, and children’s theater.

I have been married for 32 years and have two wonderful sons. As members of the Cathedral parish for 30 years, both of our children graduated from St. Joseph Cathedral School and Helias High School. Currently, Christopher is a lawyer, and Stephen just graduated from Columbia College. My husband, Deacon Braddock, is starting his 16h year of service at the Cathedral and is the CFO for the Diocese of Jefferson City.

One summer inspired by the wonderful artists in my classroom, I started creating illustrations with my computer. During this process, I discovered many things. First, I felt a deeper connection with the minds and hearts of my students as I delved into their most powerful means of communication, drawing. Second, I was amazed by the sheer joy that I experienced when I completed a drawing, especially when it expressed something about one of my passions, namely my love of God, family, and teaching. Finally, it allowed me to use my computer in a way that gives praise to God. Through the incorporation of my drawings into our website, it is my hope that others will feel inspired to join us in our mission as disciples of Christ and fishers of men.
